• Work with a team on academic, career, and life planning
  • Develop a plan for balancing school, work, and life
  • Get support and help enrolling in college or career education at one of the following:

       • Metro Community College (Omaha)

       • Southeast Community College (Lincoln)

       • University of Nebraska (Omaha & Lincoln)

       • Iowa Western Community College

  • Get help applying for financial aid, independent living funds, ETV funds,
    and scholarships to assist with paying for school
  • Attend LEAP classes, study sessions, career activities and social events
  • Get help finding – and keeping – a job that you love
  • Participate in financial case management or financial education
  • Participate in leadership activities, engagement opportunities, and let your voice be heard!

• Currently live in Lincoln or Omaha
• If you were in – or currently are in – the foster care system
• Are between the ages of 14 and 24 (at the time of enrollment)
• Are within nine months of high school graduation and on-track to graduate – OR if you
have a high school diploma or GED certificate
• Are not currently enrolled in post-secondary education
• Are committed to working with your LEAP team to ensure success!
