Central Plains
Center for Services is a private, non-profit agency offering rehabilitative
educational programs which benefit the community and the justice system. These
programs receive no public funding and depend solely on the fees paid by its
participants. There is never a cost to the referring agency.
The goal of our
workshops is to reduce recidivism for the first and second time offender.
Central Plains Center for Services offers participants the opportunity to
develop better decision-making choices through a series of steps:
Tell Them…Show
Them…Involve Them
The classes are
offered
in North Platte, Kearney, Lexington and Broken Bow.

Both of these group
classes are appropriate for the first or second time offender. The focus of the
individual’s work varies, depending on his/her offense. Topics covered include
beliefs, behaviors, consequences, trust, responsibility, peer pressure,
alcohol/drug education, anger control, decision making, self esteem and the
future.
The overall
objective of our class is to empower and encourage the offender to make better
choices in the future. Every participant is asked to write an essay at the end
