Central Plains Center for Services has a long standing history in these areas:

  • Educational programs with an emphasis in post-secondary access, financial planning, and college readiness.
  • Preparation, Transition and Independent Living Services that ensures current and former state wards have the skills to successfully transition to adulthood.
  • Early Childhood Education allows us to invest in the early years of a child’s life ensuring that all children in Nebraska have the best opportunity to succeed in school and throughout life.
  • After school and summer programs offers academic and recreational programs for children before and after their school day.

Board of Directors

Central Plains Center for Services is a private non-profit social service agency. Since the day the Agency was founded, in October 1994, our purpose and mission has remained the same “offering opportunities for positive change to individual, families, and communities”. The administrative office is located in Broken Bow, Nebraska, however the programs and services we provide are statewide with offices/staff locations in Omaha, Lincoln, Columbus, Norfolk, Grand Island, Kearney, North Platte and Scottsbluff. The simplified infrastructure of Central Plains Center for Services has made it possible to provide quality programs and services in a cost effective manner, allowing our 40 talented and dedicated employees the opportunity to carry out the agency’s mission.
