Board of Directors

Central Plains Center for Services is a private non-profit social service agency. Since the day the Agency was founded, in October 1994, our purpose and mission has remained the same “offering opportunities for positive change to individual, families, and communities”. The administrative office is located in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Our 41 dedicated and highly trained staff are located throughout all of Nebraska guaranteeing coverage to all of Nebraska’s 76,121 square miles with current staff located in Omaha, Papillion, Bellevue, Blair, Lincoln, Beatrice, Fremont, Norfolk, Columbus, Clearwater, Grand Island, Hastings, Kearney, Lexington, Broken Bow, North Platte, Scottsbluff, Gering, and Long Pine. 

Central Plains Center for Services has a long standing history in these areas:

  • Transitional and Independent Living Coaching (PALS) delivered through our Coaching Model, that ensures un-connected youth and young adults across Nebraska have the skills and community supports to succeed in adulthood.
  • Educational Services delivered through our coaching model that prioritizes post-secondary education and training access, financial planning, and college readiness.
  • Financial Literacy Services that ensure un-connected youth and young adults achieve economic stability and self-sufficiency.
  • Early Childhood Education (Sixpence) that allows us to invest in the early years of a child’s life ensuring that all children in Nebraska have the best opportunity to succeed in school and throughout life.
